We have launched our Climate Resilience Projected Projects Survey! We are working to be more intentional about our programs that advance cooperative, climate related projects in the region.

To support our work in this, please take a moment to complete the survey and you are encouraged to share with your co-op networks. Your responses will help ensure we grow to meet the stated needs of the communities we serve.

Who Should Take the Survey

  • CFNE Borrowers and Clients
  • Any cooperative in New England and New York

Adapted from a 2022 article from The Union of Concerned Scientists, we define ‘climate resilience’ as the ability to cope with and manage the impacts of climate change while preventing those impacts from growing worse; this involves adjusting how we live, work, and play to keep us safe from the impacts of climate change and to enhance the way we work in harmony with the environment.

Relevant projects could include: renewable energy storage or generation, energy efficiency retrofits, zero-emission vehicles, lower emission production or supply chain activities, sustainable forestry, extreme weather adaptation or mitigation, and more.

If you aren’t sure if a project would qualify, please include it in the survey anyway. If you have any questions, please reach out to Liska Wilson, CFNE’s Communications Director, at liska@cooperativefund.org.
